PRESS RELEASE

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE Interviews World-Renown Artist GinaBella Presser

October 26, 2021

While preparing for her upcoming Solo Exhibition, “GLITZ & GLAMOUR”, we managed to pull GinaBella Presser away from her creations to talk with us so the world can learn a little about her and get to know this fascinating artist a little bit better… She made us feel so welcomed and at home and made so much time for us. She first gave us a tour of her breathtaking residence in South Florida, toured her art studio to give us a sneak peek on what she has been working on, then we then had a delectable lunch on her Lanai out back, chatting and looking out to the ocean. The food was meticulously prepared by her and her husbands private chef. It was amazing! Read on to learn what we learned about GinaBella.

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE : Why have you decided to become an artist? Was there a defining moment in your life when you knew you were an artist?

GINABELLA : That’s the million dollar question haha! You don’t decide to be an artist, it’s a beautiful gift some are born with. However, I do decide on my medium, my technique, my subject matter. I have always loved painting, and have ALWAYS considered myself as an artist, like Lady GaGa says “I was born that way”, haha I will spare you my singing! So, to answer your question, as far back as I can remember, I ALWAYS knew I had a gift. Yet as I got older, I started making excuses as to why I shouldn’t be an artist. For some reason I thought an art career wasn’t attainable for me, I lacked the confidence in my abilities. I can remember being so scared of what people thought about me and my art. Always in the shadows of others… Also, what had a major impact on putting my paintbrushes and clay away were the tragic experiences in my life. But…. Life happens, so I suppressed it for the longest time…….

Whenever I had a free moments, which were few & far between as a single mamma, I would quickly draw and sketch stuff. But that was pretty much the extent of my artistic life. I can remember one morning sitting in my local coffee boutique, sipping on delicious coffee with 2 of my children, while the other one was up the street taking a homeschool math class. As my 2 lovies played on the computer, I people watched listening to the music over the loudness of the coffee beans being ground, and I would sketch a bit, usually on the cafe’ napkins or the paper coffee cups. The employees who knew me would walk by and comment on how amazing the art on the napkins & cups were. They immediately saw my potential and said “What on earth are you doing here? Quit your jobs you have tomorrow and be an artist already, what are you waiting for?”  I just laughed and said “thanks for the compliment”… Basically, to make ends meet, I had 3 jobs at one time! So I felt I couldn’t just stop working, to paint or sculpt. I had 3 little Loves to support.

So many many years passed, and I was still working, but not at creating art.

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE: What jobs have you done other than being an artist?

GINABELLA: HaHa, MANY! I worked at a Posh Hotel being a pool girl, I LOVED that job! I was a waitress, worked in one of the worlds biggest Advertising Agencies, receptionist, call center job, auto detailer, & worked at a sip & paint…. Just to name a few haha. Oh, also Dog Walker. I loved that fur baby job!

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE : What are your ideal working conditions ?

GINABELLA: Oh that is an EASY one! That would be in my art studio that is in my home in Delray beach. I so LOVE to roll out of bed, make my foo foo coffee and get straight to work in my studio! I have beautiful classical music piping in as I sit there and create. My studio is pretty much in the back part of my home that looks out onto the beach and the crashing waves. The studio is wrap around and pretty much all glass, for the natural light to come in. I love to look out to see the the crashing waves as the cute little Sandpipers run from each little wave that comes in. I adore the sound of the ocean and the smell of the salt air. In my studio, my paintings are never stationary. They often move around the studio whenever I feel inspired to set up in a different spot, it sort of gets my creative juices flowing differently I guess! Also I usually have multiple pieces going at once that I will be working on. I have a whole area dedicated to all my supplies. I have a very dedicated assistant that helps me stay organized in the studio. Haha, I am a little bit of a messy artist, so he is invaluable to me! He is very fun to be with, sort of like a Dan Levy twin! So fun! Anyway, I need those supplies to always be easily accessible for when the inspiration strikes at an odd hours sometimes. So he is my guy!

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE : Everyone says your work is unique, and it really is! Where do you find your inspiration to create your unique pieces?

GINABELLA : I usually get inspired from other people’s stories. Everyone has a story to share. Also, while I’m working on a painting, there’s always twists or turns in my process will spark a new idea which I tuck away for the next piece. Sometimes I am not happy with the piece, so I will throw paint on it, and start again haha! By the time I’m finished with the current painting, there’s already a new one ready to go.

BESPOKE LUXURY MAGAZINE : I want to know all about your upcoming Solo Show “GLITZ & GLAMOUR” Tell us all about that.

GINABELLA : Well, let me first say, I am extremely excited about this upcoming show! THIS IS MY DREAM PROJECT! The pieces are created exclusively for Swarovski, Chanel, Versace, just to name a few. But, let me stop there, I don’t want to give too much of the GLAMOUR away! Here are some tickets to the show. The lunch was extraordinary and the tour of your home was so fabulous! It was a delight getting to know you. In closing, is there anything you would like to add at all? Any closing words perhaps?

GINABELLA : Well, you are very welcome for everything today. And thank you for visiting me today. In closing I would just like to say to everyone who reads this…. Be authentic. Be YOU! Love who you are and always be kind to others… Some dear friends of mine, the Januszewski’s taught me to believe in my dreams and my vision. They helped me to understand in order to achieve the things I wanted in life, I had to change my beliefs. My thought process if you will. I have a very thankful heart towards them for believing in me and helping me. I am very humbled, as I look around to see where I am at in my life. I am LIVING MY DREAM! In closing, I will leave you with the thought to change your mindset, 100% believe in yourself and know your worth. And ALWAYS, ALWAYS OUTDREAM YOURSELF! (hugs everyone)
